Otto's Sea Grill
Otto's Sea Grill is located at 271 Woodcleft Ave in Freeport, NY. The business has been family owned and operated for 96 years. The story of Otto's Sea Grill began when two German waiters, Otto and Louis, arrived in New York. They met two Hungarian sisters, Helen and Margaret, and the two couples eventually married. Otto and Helen moved to Freeport and ran the dining room concession at the Marks hotel. In 1929, Helen and Otto purchased a property and opened a restaurant called Otto's Sea Grill. Over the years, the business has survived many challenges, including prohibition, World War 2, and hurricanes. The restaurant has been renovated and expanded several times, including the addition of an outside deck and clam bar. Otto's Sea Grill offers a variety of menu items, including starters, salads, handhelds, and main courses. The restaurant also hosts live music and public events, and has a private events space. Customers can contact the restaurant for more information or to make a reservation.
